This is my personal blog that I’m starting in order to stay fit! I’m not necessarily trying to lose weight but hope to develop lifelong skills and habits in order to be mentally and physically healthy, happy and strong.
I run cross-country for my high school and play lacrosse. My goal is to be on varsity for XC next year and to be a mentally stronger runner. Currently the only fitness ‘regime’ I have is lacrosse practice/games after school and I plan to start running for at least 30 minutes once on the weekends and go on a walk or do some other activity for 30 minutes the other day.
I am 5’3” and 126 lb, like I said, my goal isn’t to lose weight but I see that as a possibility of being more involved with my fitness and aware of my eating habits.
Through this blog I have goals to:
-snack less on empty calories (ie. sweets, chips, etc)
-work out/be active 6 days a week
-eat when I’m hungry, not just eat to eat
-update this blog and be more self-aware
